The service is not yet live — no dates are booked and no payments are taken. You can express interest in the Malmö pilot today, however, and hotels and restaurants can submit a partner interest.

Is the service running in Malmö right now?+
Not yet. Beforetheface is in a pilot phase: no dates are booked and no payments are taken. The waitlist for the pilot is open, however — you can express interest today and we will contact you when the pilot opens. The pilot starts only once security and BankID verification are live and agreements with hotel, taxi and payment partners are signed.
Who can join a blind date in Malmö?+
The service is open to heterosexual, gay and trans people. You choose who you want to meet — everyone is treated with the same discretion and care. All profiles are verified with Mobile BankID (identity and age ≥18) before any match is made.
What does the blind date include?+
One price covers everything: AI matching, a booked table at a carefully selected hotel restaurant, eco-taxi to and from the date, and a three-course dinner with drinks. No overnight stay is included — the experience is the dinner, with return transport.
How much does a blind date in Malmö cost?+
The planned pilot price is 995 SEK per person, everything included. The service is not yet in operation and cannot be purchased today.
Is Beforetheface speed dating?+
No. Speed dating means many short meetings in one evening. Beforetheface is the opposite: one carefully matched blind date, one evening, one table — with eco-taxi and a three-course dinner included.
Is there anything for singles across Skåne?+
The pilot starts in Malmö, but singles from all of Skåne — Lund, Helsingborg, Kristianstad and beyond — are welcome once we launch. The eco-taxi picks you up where you live.
